About

Since entering the photographic field in 1974, Dianne’s love of photography has spanned from studio portraits to weddings, scenic photographs to photo restoration, photo story books and other digital projects. Dianne’s career in photography began in Wichita Falls, Texas as an apprentice photographer for TexColor Inc., a subsidiary of ESECO. She obtained her primary education in the field from the Winnona School of Photography. Dianne was subsequently transferred to Lubbock, Texas where she became lead photographer and studio manager for TexColor’s local studio. As a member of the Professional Photographers Association (PPA), Dianne also guest lectured in photography at Texas Tech University on the subject of studio lighting. She continued gathering experience and additional training in the field at various local, state and national PPA meetings. Following her marriage in 1986, Dianne and her husband moved to Bradenton, Florida where in 1989 she opened the home based JIL Photography Studio. JIL Photography specialized in onsite family and children portraiture as well as wedding photography. While operating JIL Photography, Dianne became a member of the Florida Professional Photographers Association where she held the position of Secretary for the local Tampa Bay chapter of the Professional Photographers Association.

Following her return to Texas in 1993, Dianne began working in small photo kiosk in the area. In 1998, she began working for Life Touch Studios in Plano, Texas where she served as studio manager, lead photographer and trainer. Dianne’s expertise was soon recognized as she was promoted to the position of head trainer for Life Touch Studio, Texas/Oklahoma region.

Since leaving the active photography studio scene, Dianne has continued to learn and hone her photographic skills by attending several traveling seminars presented by various leaders of the industry. She continues to gather expertise daily through online and self taught classes available through Kelby.com, Lydia.com and Adobe Photo Shop to name a few.

In 2010, Dianne began creating photo memory books for family and friends. Creation of the memory books included the scanning of photos, documents, slides, and negatives for use in the final product. Continuing to learn and take on new challenges in the field, Dianne has added the restoration of old photographs and documents to her list of available services.

Today, Dianne has the expertise and capability to digitize, copy, create and/or restore many of the items you have saved which can be transformed into THE MEMORY TREE of your life.

  1. Dianne Glenn has done four memory books of our family and they are awesome. We enjoy sharing them with our friends and enjoy bringing back all the memories that are captured in these books. She has restored photos that were taken eighty years ago and combined them with story telling. It’s amazing what she can do with a picture.

  2. I am a Small Home based company in Jasper Tenn. Do You have a need for photo restoration ,scanning or digital Photobooks?
